The Practice of Mindfulness
The foundation of our studio combines the physical with the inner emotional and spiritual journey. We believe that to achieve overall optimal health, there needs to be a balance of both modern and therapeutic medicine, as well as mindful movement.
By integrating body, breath, movement, and meditative awareness, we promote awareness of the interdependency of all these aspects in personal health and wellbeing.
At KatMula Wellness, we use our extensive training and in-depth understanding of the human body and psyche to teach and cultivate awareness of one’s own practice and life process.
Our classes and workshops are geared toward integrating the practice of mindfulness into every day life.
Our founder, Kat is a board certified Nurse Practitioner and Yoga Instructor. She has dedicated her career to further studying mind/body medicine.
Kat combines her many years of experience in various fields of medicine, as well as training and certification in both foundational and prenatal hatha yoga, to create classes focused on mindful movement and the vast benefits of mind body medicine.
This is what inspires her in clinical practice, and this idea has become the foundation of both the studio and KatMula Wellness as a whole.

KATMULA KIDS VIRTUAL MINDFULNESS WORKSHOPS

We have transformed our very popular KatMula Kids Yoga parties into one hour Virtual Mindfulness Workshops!!
Children's Mindfulness Workshops will be held once monthly.
Register through our website!
Our theme oriented mindfulness workshops include yoga, games and crafts.
All supplies are included in pricing and will be available for contactless drop-off or pick-up prior to the event.
Workshops are appropriate for ages 5 and up.

CHAKRA WORKSHOP

This will be a virtual event.
We'll review the concept of Chakras as they relate to the practice of yoga, and how they contribute to our overall health and wellness.
Participants will each create their own yoga bracelet, using chakra gemstones and black lava beads. We will also review diffusing bracelets with essential oils, and the benefits of essential oils in every day life.
All supplies included in fee and will be available for contactless pick-up or drop-off.
